JOSEF EL-RAGHY
Chairman
Josef previously served as Chairman and CEO of Centamin Plc, a gold mining company that began on the ASX as a junior explorer with a market capitalisation of approximately $20 million. He oversaw the growth of Centamin Plc through exploration, development and into production, where its market capitalisation eventually exceeded $4 billion. This journey included a listing on the LSE and eventual admission to the FTSE 250 index.
Henk Diederichs
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director
Henk is a highly experienced mining executive with over 20 years’ success delivering major resource projects across Africa. He has held senior leadership roles with Predictive Discovery, OreCorp and Equinox Minerals, where he advanced large-scale gold and copper assets including Bankan (Guinea), Nyanzaga (Tanzania) and the Lumwana Copper Mine (Zambia). Renowned for driving projects through feasibility, development and into production, Henk has consistently created substantial value for stakeholders through disciplined execution and strong operational leadership.
Mark Arnesen
Non-Executive Director
Mark is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience in the international resources industry and extensive expertise in the structuring and negotiation of finance for major resource projects. Mark has held executive roles with Billiton/Gencor, AngloGold Ashanti, Equinox Minerals Limited, Gulf Industrials Limited and Nzuri Copper Limited.
Andrew Pardey
Non-Executive Director
Currently Managing Director at Predictive Discovery, Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in exploration, project development and operations. He recently served as CEO of Centamin Plc (2015-19) and has held senior positions in Africa and Australia as part of Guinor Gold Corporation and Ashanti Goldfields, now AngloGold Ashanti.
Adam Smits
Non-Executive Director
Mr Smits is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years’ experience in senior mining project and operational leadership roles. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Liontown Limited (ASX:LTR), playing a key role in delivering first production at the Kathleen Valley Lithium Project in Western Australia.
He has extensive African project development experience, including senior roles with Perseus Mining Limited, Mineral Deposits Limited and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from The University of Western Australia.
David Edwards
Chief Financial Officer.
David is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience in resources and construction. He has extensive expertise in project finance and managing finance operations and compliance across African and Australian jurisdictions, supporting resource projects from scoping study through feasibility, construction and into large-scale production.
Pierrick Couderc
Exploration Manager
Pierrick has over 20 years’ experience in a range of commodities and geological settings. Most recently, he served as the Côte d’Ivoire Exploration Manager for Centamin Plc. Notably, he led the team that discovered the 5.4Moz Doropo Project and the 2.2Moz ABC Project. Pierrick is a French national and fluent in both English and French.
Joanna Kiernan
Company Secretary
Joanna is a governance professional with over 18 years’ experience in the operation and administration of publicly listed companies, primarily in the resources sector. Ms Kiernan has held the role of Company Secretary for numerous ASX, AIM and SGX listed companies. Ms Kiernan is currently the Company Secretary of Asara Resources Limited and Marvel Gold Limited.
