About Côte d’Ivoire
Côte d’Ivoire is widely recognised as one of the most developed and stable, yet under-explored countries in West Africa. The country hosts approximately 33% by area of the west African Birimian stratigraphy and yet only hosts 5 active gold deposits being Ity, Tongon, Bonikro, Sissingué and most recently Yaouré.
Through the acquisition of Glomin from Capital DI (see ASX Announcement dated 8th September 2020) the Company has acquired the rights to earn 80% of 4 prospective projects in central Côte d’Ivoire, centred around the Capital city of Yamassoukro.
The most advanced projects, having seen historical drilling are Bouaflé and Mankono, with Bocanda and Issia representing earlier stage growth opportunities on the margins of prospective greenstone belts.
